About Us

Gert & Bert Creations was established in 2005 and has been providing outstanding service ever since.

The business began after Rebecca made a quilted purse for herself in the style of "Vera Bradley." A local hotel owner complimented her and wanted one for her daughter. Following this transaction, the hotel owner and Rebecca worked out a deal so that Rebecca was able to display and sell her items off a shelf next to the hotel's front desk. Purses, scarves, hats and seasonal items, as well as embellished and decorated items for one of New York States Finger Lakes were always big sellers.

From this point of sale, requests for custom orders came in - including one for a custom-made dress and jacket to match a purse from the shelf to be worn at a private audience with the Queen of England! (Rebecca found out where it was going to be worn after it was made, at the final fitting, as the customer was heading home to Japan!)

Our business is located at 12 Livingston Street in Geneseo, New York. We are four down on the right-hand side, just before the cement stucco house.

We are also a point of sale for locally roasted and packaged Evening Star Coffee Roasters Coffee - they are from the next town over, Avon, NY. You will find them listed under our "Links" section.
